spektron EP-NP SPEKTRON MB is a two-component, high-build epoxy-polyamine-based coating with excellent chemical resistance.
Prior to mixing, components A (base) and B (hardener) shall be brought to room temperature (60–75°F / 16–24°C). Mix the components using a mechanical mixer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. If required, add the solvent and use the mixed product.
Apply the material at the recommended coating thickness. The maximum recoating interval is 21 days. Application of the coating outside the recommended thickness range may adversely affect the coating performance. Do not apply more than 300 microns per coat to prevent sagging. When applying by spray, use a 50% overlap on each spray gun pass to avoid misses, holidays, and pinholes. If required, apply cross-spray passes at right angles.
Total coating thickness: 350 microns (2 layers), with an average consumption of 0.4 kg/m²
