Remove all loose and friable materials, dust, oil, paint residues, and cement laitance from the surfaces. The substrate shall be sound, smooth, and dry.
Prepare the material in accordance with the SPEKTRON MP application instructions and apply it to the substrate using a brush, broom, or roller. The substrate moisture content shall not exceed 8% by weight.
After application of the primer, allow a curing interval of not less than 8 hours (at +20°C) and not more than 12 hours before proceeding with the subsequent application.
Prepare the material in accordance with the SPEKTRON MB application instructions and apply it to the prepared substrate using a brush, roller, or by pouring, followed by levelling with a notched trowel or steel trowel. The thickness of each applied layer shall not exceed 2 mm. Depending on the layer thickness and ambient temperature, the drying time for each coat shall be not less than 12 hours and not more than 24 hours.
The foundation shall be insulated using SPEKTRON XPS extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation boards. The insulation boards shall be fixed using polyurethane adhesive foam.
The SPEKTRON PLM-AS protection membrane shall be fixed using special self-adhesive fasteners or adhesive tapes. The membrane shall be unrolled with the studs facing the surface to be protected. Adjacent membrane sheets shall be installed with an overlap of not less than 80–120 mm, and the membrane shall extend at least 200–250 mm beyond the perimeter of the area being protected. All overlaps shall be additionally sealed with protective tape.
