Applying copper tape
When the primer layer is completely hardened, use a copper self-adhesive tape to create a grid of a conductive circuit with a side size of 1-1.5 m. The tape is applied to the entire surface of the floor and along the perimeter of the room. The distance from the wall should be 10-15 cm.
The number of taps on the grounding bus must be provided for: at least 2 taps per 100 m2.
When applying the tape, roll it with a rubber roller to ensure that no air bubbles remain underneath the tape, as they may cause surface defects (pinholes) in the antistatic floor after application of the main polymer layer. Mechanically fix the ends of the tape to the grounding busbar.
The adhesive composition of the tape is conductive, so the ends of the tape are connected (electrically) by overlapping (gluing) the ends of the tape.
